It’s true that when you first start drinking more water your body dumps most of it so it seems like you are going to the bathroom a lot.  Even after your body adapts, you can expect to be going to the bathroom somewhat more frequently.

If you are going to the bathroom to urinate only twice a day, that’s bad!  Not only are you eating more food to satisfy your thirst, but it also makes it much easier to get a bladder infection.

If the President of the United States can find time to go to the bathroom, you can find time to go to the bathroom.  If the Queen of England can find time to go to the bathroom, if the Pope can find time to go to the bathroom, you can find time to go to the bathroom.  Need I go on?

If necessary, put the most beautiful thing you own in the bathroom, so you will look forward to going!

Your body will adapt to the change very quickly and then you will notice the benefits of drinking more.  (Please do notice.)

People who had problems with constipation often notice that their problems are relieved or less severe.  Your skin will feel less dry.  If you hadn’t been drinking much before, your normal thirst will return and you will enjoy drinking more.

Return to Step One.
